Finding somewhere to live is the most important and stressful thing you'll  do - we start the search before you arrive in NZ. 

When moving to a new country, you are in a Catch 22 situation, you cannot sign a rental agreement without viewing a property, but you cannot view as you are physically not in the country.  

We draw up a shortlist of properties which meet your criteria and which will be available for you to move into when you arrive. Alternatively you may wish to draw up your own shortlist using realestate.co.nz or trademe.co.nz where many estate agents list their rental properties, and simply use us to view them for you. However not all properties are listed on the web, we can find properties from our estate agent contacts before they are listed.

We undertake the viewing on your behalf, report back with a video clip on the web if required, and list of pro’s and con’s. For example without inspecting the property you would not know if it were on a busy road, smelt damp, was very cold with insufficient heating,  up/down many steps, had no parking etc. We also report back on the condition of the furnishings, a property may be fully furnished but in what condition?  You will also need to know how long the commute really takes into town in rush hour and frequency of public transport.

Many landlords are negotiable in their terms and we can undertake preliminary negotiations with regard to, for example negotiating a different length of lease, a discount in rental or obtain permission to allow pets.
